Labour is the foundation of every society. Whether it’s building roads, growing crops, teaching children, or developing technology, workers are the driving force behind national and global progress. International Labour Day, also known as May Day, is celebrated on May 1st every year to honor the dignity of labour and recognize the contributions of workers across the world. This day is more than a symbolic tribute. It is a powerful reminder of the struggle that working men and women have faced throughout history to secure their rights - fair wages, safe workplaces, and the basic human dignity they deserve.
